The full day in Comino always delivers on its promises and attracts a large crowd of hikers every year on this XirCammini event, a trek which generally ends with a swim even in autumn.
As we walk the coast and explore the valleys and hilltop inland we walk back in history to Abu Lafia’s cave (ancient burial chamber and hermitage), the fortifications of the knights, the bakery and British barracks, the Chapel and the cemetery and the interestingly rugged terrain that makes Comino the beautiful, unpolished gem that it is.
Event Details and Logistics
Our journey begins promptly in Cirkewwa on Saturday, 31st October at 08:00 a.m. departing to Comino. We return around 16:00.
