Embark on a profound spiritual journey, on an interesting variant of the second most popular Camino de Santiago. XirCammini will be offering various options on this Camino, including:
- 2-week Porto to Santiago de Compostela, walking from Northern Portugal (rich in history, heritage, gastronomy and viticulture) into Galicia (€995); OR
- 1-week Vigo to Santiago de Compostela, walking on the Coastal route in Galicia (€795); OR
- 2-week Porto to Santiago de Compostela, traversing Northern Portugal into Galicia with most of the Galician segment in a kayak rather than walking (€1,200); OR
- 1-week Galicia to Santiago de Compostela, 4 days of which would be kayaking (€995).
The final stretch from Padron, the illustrious Roman province of Iliria Flavia, steeped in Jacobean tradition, to Santiago de Compostela would be on foot.

Applicants will be informed of these. The dates indicated in the event Calendar are tentative and may vary slightly, depending on the availability of flights. The dates below indicate the “time window”.

Note: XirCammini is a membership-based Camino/hiking association and not a travel agency. Hence, XirCammini does not book flights. Where applicable, XirCammini engages Walk.mt Ltd or other licensed travel operators for licensed incoming/outgoing travel agency requirements.
Price | Deposit
Applicants will receive an invoice with the price payable in two instalments (deposit and balance) with dates indicated on the invoice. The price of this trip covers local transport and daily baggage transfers in Portugal/Spain and accommodation on a shared, twin-room B&B basis (single supplement can be quoted if requested). The price also includes extensive local training, an information session, and a trek leader. For those choosing the Kayaking option, the price also includes the rental of the kayaks.
Price: The price varies between €795 and €1,200 depending on the option chosen. (Non-refundable deposit: €300)
