My husband and I have joined a small group from Malta to do the Sant’Antioco Cammino in Sardinia. We were then joined by two wonderful women coming all the way from America.
The 3-day cammino was spectacular. Walking along the lovely beaches and volcanic areas of Sardinia with green-peaked mountains in the background and green fields in between. Words cannot describe the beautiful scenery throughout and the peace and fresh air one could experience on such a cammino.
The weather was great. So, we also had the opportunity to swim or wet our feet after every cammino. That was a bonus and a much-needed treat for swollen, weary feet.
We could also enjoy and experience the village festa in the evening, so the combination was awesome.
On the whole, it is the experience of a lifetime, and I would recommend it to anyone, anytime. Thank you, XirCammini, and thank you, James and Marina, for leading so impeccably.
