This passage from La Verna to Assisi was very challenging. We hiked up and down many hills and the scenery was stunning. I struggled with the heat when it was above 32 degrees especially when we were walking in peak hours, on tarmac but the overall experience was well worth it. I felt very in touch with nature and the stillness in the forest was rejuvenating and healing. This was definitely the most difficult path Ive ever walked but also the most rewarding.
