Introduction

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.

On 9th March 2025 we will be organising the Malta segment of the Camino Maltes from St. Paul’s Catacombs in  Rabat (where Don Juan Benegas de Cordoba lived) to Fort St Angelo, Birgu (36km).

The route follows the old mediaval villages of Rabat, Zebbug, Siggiewi and San Niklaw, Hal Manin (Qrendi), Zurrieq (including Hal Far and Wied Hlantun), Bir Miftuh (Gudja), Ghaxaq (then part of Zejtun), Zejtun and Zabbar (then a vice-parish within Zejtun) before entering Cottonera.

The Walk

We offer 1-way transport for those who require it. we park close to Cafe Riche, Birgu (https://maps.app.goo.gl/HUNi1srh5AKzYQmT6) for a 07:00 a.m. departure by coachfor Rabat. The walk then commences from outside St paul’s Catacombs, via Mdina and through a network of Maltese villages until we reach Fort St Angelo.

Cost including transport, guidebook (with incorporated Universal Peace Walk Credencial), Camino Maltes Credencial and testimonium is Euros 20 per person.

Cost exluding transport but including guidebook (with incorporated Credencial), Camino Maltes Credencial and testimonium is Euros 15 per person.
