Camino Invierno | P375 | Level: Mod
Introduction
The name Camino Invierno originates from a “bye-pass” to the Camino Frances when part of the route was impassable due to winter weather. In time, this developed as a route of its own right.
Starting in Ponferrada, the Camino passes traverses river Sil and the Ribreira Sacra area on its way to Santiago de Compostela.
It is one of the lesser walked routes, making it even more special as a Camino.
