Bulgaria SAVE THE DATE
August 28 - September 4
Nestled on the Balkan mountains between the Black Sea and the Danube river, Bulgaria has a lot to offer in terms of history, culture, hiking, adventure, archeology and also local gastronomy and wine.
We will be exploring all of this in the last week of August / early September (the dates are indicative depending on flight connections). During our week in Bulgaria we shall not only visit the Capital City, Sofia, and the mediaval city of Plovdiv but also hike in the Rhodope mountains and in other natural parks / forests as well as engage in an adventure sport, visit the reputed Rila Monastery. We will also savour local cuisine and wine as we immerse ourselves for 5 days in this beautiful country.
As we finalise the program and the logistics for this week, we look forward to hearing from anyone who would be interested in joining us. We will finalise the Bulgaria itinerary by the end of March.
