Description

We meet at 09:30 a.m. (early birds can hear mass at 08:00 at the  Parish Church) next to the statue of St. Joseph adjacent to Parish Church, Naxxar.

We will start with a tour of the church museum, followed by a walk through of St Lucy str with its quaint14 alleyways and history.

The tour ends at the Victoria Band club where we will have a spread of Maltese finger food (included in the price). Drinks can be bought separately at the bar with the band club providing us with a venue to socialise, eat and drink.

The walk is child-friendly. Members are also encouraged to invite / register non-members to join on this walk which helps us learn more about one of Malta’s oldest villages.

The contribution of Euros 10 per person pays for the finger food prepared by Victoria Band Club and also helps us donate towards the museum that is run with such dedication by volunteer aficionadoes. We want to thank Mr Paul Catania, the musuem curator who will also be accompanying us on the day, for his dedication to reviving Naxxar’s heritage.
