Jo Debono is a senior citizen who walked the Camino from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela in 2015 when already in his 70s. He is an impressionist artist. These three works are the products of his 2015 Camino experience. The journey provided a profound source of inspiration, and during his walk, he was deeply impressed by the surrounding landscape. Upon returning, he promptly began to work based on his recollections and photographs. As can be observed, there is a significant contrast compared to that of Malta.
