Together with my husband and daughter, I joined the Xircammini group to do a part of the Camino del Norte from Vilalba to Santiago de Compostela. It was a great trip, because we got to experience the serene forests, hidden rivers, and misty landscapes of Galicia.
Every evening, it was so nice to relax and explore the unique local towns. Arriving in Santiago and seeing all the happy, celebrating pilgrims at the Plaza del Obradoiro was very special. On our way home, we also stopped briefly in Porto, Portugal, which felt like an open-air museum because of its gorgeous architecture. Thank you, XirCammini. I am so grateful for this amazing journey, and I would love to do more Caminos soon.
