Interestingly the word Eurcharist is derived from Greek; Eukharistia\, meaning “thanksgiving” or Eukharistos meaning “grateful” \nTo show our gratitude as we walk again together we will be teaming up with #Cami Appelgren and combine with our evening walk a clean-up exercise. Please bring a garbage bag with you and wear a disposable glove. \nThe walk starts at 7:00 p.m. (please be there on time). We will meet next to Sagra Familja Church in Bidnjia. From Bidnija we’ll walk towards Zebbiegh and across to Bingemma Road up to the Church of our Lady of Ittria. DESCRIPTION:Open only to XirCammini Members. \n \nFrom Vilalba to Santiago  ⎸ This is the last leg on the Camino del Norte bound for Santiago de Compostela. \nDates are tentative based on demand by members and availability of flights.  Tentatively we are looking at 19th or 20th to the 26th or 27th March 2020. \nFrom Villaalba we enter Terra Chá (Galicia) walking walking through mainly farms\, villages and woodlands towards Baamonde. This is a region renowned for its diary and cheese. \nThe next hamlet to walk through is that of Miraz. In Summer 2020 XirCammini has been entrusted with the Volunteer Hospitalero work for the donativo albergue in Miraz for 1 month. The albergue is managed by the UK Confraternity of St. James. \nOur next stage would be Sobrado dos Monxes traversing some high panoramic points. \nAt Arzua we meet up with the pilgrims from the Camino Francés\, proceeding to Amenal and onward to Santiago de Compostela. \nThe event is open only to XirCammini Members and is not covered by the MTA Insolvency Fund. \nXirCammini is a membership-based NGO. We are neither a travel agency nor a tour operator. DESCRIPTION:We’ll meet in the public parking area in Ghadira\, next to the Mellieha Bay Hotel (closest bus stop Mellieha Bay Beach Bus Stop 41\, 42\, 101\, 221 and 222) and walk around the perimeter of the Nature Reserve towards Torri l-Ahmar in the direction of Fomm Ghammieh. Past the Tower we proceed to the cliff in the direction of Popeye Village (past the Cumnija Sewage Treatment Plant) looping back to Ghadira Bay past bd Seabank. \nThe walk is graded as easy it is dog-friendly and family friendly.
