From there we kayak on Ría de Arousa (Arousa estuary) and up the River Ulla (Río Ulla) to reach Pontecesures. This historic Camino is from the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Edinburgh\, though South Queensferry and Scotland’s idyllic east coast to St. Andrews. \nThe medieval pilgrimage route from Edinburgh to St. Andrews is known as St. Margaret’s Way because Saint Queen Margaret of Scotland (1045 – 1093) initiated the ferry across the River Forth to assist pilgrims travelling this route from Edinburgh to St. Andrews. During her lifetime she also built various monasteries\, churches and pilgrim albergues. DESCRIPTION:18th – 25th September 2027\n\n\n\nCamino Fisterra and Muxia | Level: Mod | We meet at the airport 2hrs before the flight | Muxia\, Fisterra\, Olivoreia\, Negriera Santiago \nThis Camino starts from KM0 (Muxia) and leads back to Santiago de Compostela on beaches\, cliffs\, countryside  pathways and some historic sites. It is approximately 120km long. \nPlease book by following this link. \n  \nThe Camino to Fisterra or Muxia is traditionally a continuation to “land’s end” after pilgrims would have reach Santiago de Compostela. In time\, the inverse route\, i.e. from Muxia or Fisterra\, established itself a Camino route ending in Santiago de Compostela. The route: \n\nMuxia to Fisterra. + – 30km\nFisterra to Cee. 15km\nCee to Olivoreia or Abeleiroas. + – 25km\nOlivorea/Abeleiroas to Negreira. + – 30km\nNegreira to Santiago de Compostela. + – 20km\n\nThis camino is also characterised by a number of ascents and therefore\, prior training is advised.
