DESCRIPTION:Camino Maltes (36km walk) | Registration required) | Level: Mod | Meeting Place: To be advised \nOn 20th April 2025\, Timea will be embarking on the full Camino Maltés from Rabat\, Malta to Santiago de Compostela\, traversing Sicily\, Sardegna and Spain. \nTo give her a proper send off we are planning to walk the Malta segment with her from Rabat to Birgu on 20th April 2025. \nThe Camino Maltes from St. Paul’s Catacombs\, Rabat (close to where Don Juan Benegas de Cordoba lived) to Fort St Angelo\, Birgu (36km). \nPlease follow this link to register. Payment is non-refundable. \nThe Walk | Transport\nThe .gpx route for the walk are available here Camino Maltes (Malta segment) de Santiago de Compostela. One can also download an app for Camino Maltes for free from Google Store here. \nFor those who require transport please \nPlease park close to Cafe Riche\, Birgu (https://maps.app.goo.gl/HUNi1srh5AKzYQmT6) for a 07:00 a.m. departure by coach \nand all of us would proceed to Rabat to commence the Camino at 08:00 from St Paul’s Catacombs. \n\nCost including transport\, guidebook (with incorporated Universal Peace Walk Credencial)\, Camino Maltes Credencial and testimonium is Euros 15 per person.\nCost exluding transport but including guidebook (with incorporated Credencial)\, Camino Maltes Credencial and testimonium is Euros 10 per person.\nCost for transport only (excluding everything else) is Euros 5 per person.\nIf you wish to participate but do not require transport\, credencial\, testimonium etc. you can just turn up on the day at no cost.\n\nPlease follow this link to register.
