This walk is designed to be an immersive experience\, combining historical significance with the beauty of the Maltese landscape. It also serves as excellent training for future long-distance hikes or Caminos. \nThe route of the Universal Peace Walk 1543AD® is a carefully curated route that connects several old medieval towns and villages\, including Mdina\, Rabat\, Zebbug\, Siggiewi\, San Niklaw\, Hal Manin (Qrendi)\, Zurrieq (which encompasses Hal Far and Wied Hlantun)\, Bir Miftuh (Gudja)\, Ghaxaq (historically part of Zejtun)\, and Zejtun itself. The Camino Maltes\, on the other hand\, follows the same route but starts earlier\, in Rabat\, and ends later in Fort St Angelo\, Birgu. \nThe Walk Experience \nThe Universal Peace Walk 1543AD is designed to be accessible and convenient for participants.
